Animal Impound

Animal Shelter

All animals and fowl impounded under the provisions of municipal code 6.04.120, 6.05.110, or 6.05.200, if unclaimed, shall be retained in the animal shelter for a minimum of five (5) days. If at the expiration of the five (5) days from the date of notice to the owner or the date of posting, the animal or fowl maybe released for adoption.

Dog licenses are due in January each year.
You can pick your license up at the Cle Elum Police Station, proof of rabies vaccination is required by Washington State Law. Fees are $7.50-$10.00 depending on spay and neuter status. The Violation fee for not licensing your dog is now $103, Thank you
